Krystina Bojanowski (Ira)

 

A Vancouver native, Krystina grew up by the ocean, and knows that crab are always largest under the power lines. She is now a Toronto-based singer and actor, as well as a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.

 

Selected theatre credits include: Iago (Othello – Go Play Productions), Juliet (Romeo and (her) Juliet – Headstrong Collective/Urban Bard), Perdita (The Winter’s Tale – Classic Chic), Bijou (In This World – Youtheatre), Emilia (The Two Noble Kinsmen – Kinsmen Collective), Erin (Shed – Summerworks), Three Sixty, King Lear, Everything in the Garden (NTSC).

Sochi Fried (Radya)

 

Sochi grew up in New York City and Ottawa and is currently based in Toronto. She was most recently seen on stage in Blood Wedding (Modern Times/ Aluna Theatre).  Other select theatre credits include: Identity Crisis (Hibernian Hall, Boston); Antigonick (Summerworks 2014); The Summer Spectacular (Small Wooden Shoe); Parts to Whole (One Little Goat); Stencilboy and Other Portraits (Next Stage Festival 2014); The Misanthrope (The Guild Festival Theatre); The Charge of The Expormidable Moose (One Little Goat); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Citadel Theatre). Sochi is a graduate of the Citadel/ Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program, Ryerson University’s Theatre School, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She was a member of Labyrinth Theater Company’s (NYC) Intensive Ensemble in 2013. 

 

Clare Coulter (Old Frosya)

 

Clare Coulter has performed extensively with the following theatres : Passe Muraille, Tarragon, Factory Lab, Canadian Stage, National Arts Centre, Centaur, and Segal Centre.  original co-creations include : ' The Seaford Tapes ' with Tracy Wright and Andrew Scorer;
' Sessions ', with Daniel Brooks and Daniel MacIvor, ' La Voix Humaine' , with Philip McKee, Kate Whitehead, and Pierre Luc Brunet;
' Lear ', with Philip McKee, Kate Whitehead, Rose Plotek and others. clare recently performed with the UK artists: Blast Theory: in their  film:  ' My One Demand ', Luminato Festival, Toronto 2015.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jesse LaVercombe (Anton)

 

Jesse LaVercombe is a Toronto-based actor and writer originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has acted professionally in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Fredericton, Minneapolis, New Orleans, and New York City. He toured Canada with Red Sky Performance and the American East Coast with the Caravan Stage Company. His first one-man play, Preacher Man (published by Indie Theatre Now, NYC), was produced across Canada and in NYC. He was also the composer for The Life of Jude at SummerWorks (published by Scirocco Drama, Winnipeg, MB). His next one-man play Love Me Forever Billy H. Tender, will be presented this fall in Toronto.  Training: National Theatre School

Caitlin Robson (Frosya)

 

Caitlin Robson is a Toronto-based actor from Barrie (mostly). She failed two compulsory courses for her Spanish BA at Laurier while directing and producing an extra-curricular musical, and decided that conjugating irregular verbs probably wasn’t her vocation after all. So she took acting classes at the University of Waterloo. Past credits include Anna in Karenin’s Anna (Toronto Fringe; “Outstanding New Play,” “Outstanding Production,” “Outstanding Ensemble”—Now Magazine; “Highlight of the Fringe”—Torontoist), Judith in Equivocation (Persephone Theatre; SAT Award Nominee: Best Ensemble). Caitlin has no illusions about how cool it is that she gets to work with everyone in the Seams Collective. Much love to her family, friends and her mentors at The Actors’ Place.

Elizabeth Stuart-Morris (Shura)

 

Elizabeth is a graduate of the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College’s Theatre & Drama Studies Acting Program, and works as a Toronto indie theatre producer and performer.

Past credits include assistant producer/stage-manager for Sounds of Silence (a fundraising performance for Acting Up-Stage), co-creator/producer of December 1917: The Halifax Explosion’s touring production, actor and producer for Bald Monkey Theatre’s Atlantic Fringe production of ‘Dentity Crisis, and producer/administrator for the Passionate Players production of A Midwinter Night’s Dream- a Convergence Theatre and Outside the March’s fundraising production. She has acted, directed, and produced pieces in Toronto’s Paprika and New Waves Festivals, and has stage-managed for various new-works, such as The Facebook Musical, Faith, Love Virtually, and Witches & Bitches, to name a few. Elizabeth is a proud co-founder of Well Fought Theatre Company, and co-founder of Bald Monkey Theatre

Ewa Wolniczek (Marina)

 

Ewa (like Evan but without the "n") Wolniczek is a 2010 George Brown Theatre School graduate. Throughout her eight years in the Toronto theatre scene, Ewa has had extensive experience working on newly developed plays.
Select Theatre credits include: Macbeth, with Classical Theatre Project, Single Thread Theatre Company's site specific production Loyalists, two award winning SummerWorks plays (Wild Dogs on the Moscow Trains and The Frenzy of Queen Maeve) with Live Lobster Theatre, Mister Baxter for Bring the Buzz Festival, as well as a Dora nominated production of Ashlin Halfnight'sLaws of Motion. Ewa is very excited to have the chance to delve back into her role as Marina for Seams and be a part of SummerWorks again

Rebecca Ballarin (Assistant Producer) 

 

Rebecca Ballarin is a recent graduate of the Centre for Theatre, Drama and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto. She currently works as the Front of House Manager at Hart House Theatre and Professional Theatre and Education Manager at Theatre Ontario, while freelancing as a director, designer, and producer. She is a member of the Antique Fables Theatre Collective and on an ongoing basis directs Toronto-based drag queen Pearle Harbour.

Lisa Van Oorschot (Assistant Stage Manager) 

 

Lisa is a graduate of the Drama Studies Program at York University's Glendon College, and is currently studying Theatre Production at Humber College. Credits include director of Exercices de conversation and stage manager of Mon coeur mis à nu for Theatre Glendon, lighting crew for This Side of Heaven and apprentice stage manager for To Me In 10 Years for Humber Theatre, and stage manager for Dv8 Production's She Said Yes at the 2015 Toronto Fringe Festival. Lisa is also passionate about theatre education and has led several youth-centered theatre initiatives, including working as director of Theatre Aurora's youth programs from 2012-2014. She is thrilled to be rejoining the Seams Collective for this production.

Steve Vargo (Stage Manager) 

 

Steve is a graduate of the Theatre Production program at Humber College, and also studied at George Brown College, with experience both on and off the stage. His past credits as a stage manager include Deepest Darkest, The War of the Clowns, Elizabeth – Darcy, Birth, The Deliverance of Juliet and Her Romeo, John and Beatrice, Peter and the Dinosaurs, Transit Diaries, Bloom, and the StArt Art Festival in Scarborough. As a lighting designer his credits include A Midsummer Nightmare, Julius Caesar Project, The Deliverance of Juliet and Her Romeo, Lady Julie, Teach Me, and Something Unspoken. Steve is glad to be returning for Seams!
